Turning The Corner

We are waking up to warm and humid conditions, but a late-day cold front will 'wash' it away.

Then, we will be left with cooler, less humid weather for the weekend.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

Clouds, peeks of sun, and isolated showers will dictate the first half of the day before more widespread showers/thunder spread east this afternoon.

Highs will be in the middle 70s.

Skies will quickly clear out overnight tonight as strong cold air advection will be taking place.

Winds will also increase.

Friday will be the beginning of a stretch of more fall-like weather.

The sun will be shining, winds will be strong from the northwest, and high temperatures will hover in the lower and middle 60s.

Sunshine with temperatures in the 60s will carry us through the last weekend of Summer '11.

Atlantic Tropical Update:

T.S. Maria will pass far to our east early Friday morning.  Another tropical wave off the coast of Africa is showing slight potential of strengthening.
