Tufts rebukes 'dangerous school' label
Tufts University has the dubious distinction of being called America's "most dangerous" school.
The web site "The Daily Beast" looked at campus security at more than 450 of the country's largest colleges and universities and found in the past year there was one murder, 36 forcible rapes, 119 aggravated assaults and 174 burglaries at Tufts.
There was also one case of arson.
Harvard checked in at number 3 on the list also with one murder.
There were also more than 9-hundred burglaries and 157 motor vehicle thefts.
Tufts sent out a security memo to the campus calling the report extremely inaccurate and is based on flawed methodology.
The school says not all the crimes took place on the campus making the numbers inflated.
