TTYM: Boo-Hoo Bears, Olympian 'Hot To Trot' and Worst Free Throw Ever?
An Olympic runner turns "street walker," possibly the worst free throw ever and another Bear joins the "blame the fans" bandwagon. It's all this week in That Thing You Missed.

Coming off Brian Urlacher’s comments about not caring about the fans, Bears' linebacker Lance Briggs is standing up for his teammate, claiming no franchise in the NFL gets harsher criticism from a hometown crowd.
"I've heard a lot of boos for a lot of the wrong reasons. Nobody on any team I’ve seen, gets booed more at home than here in Chicago.” Briggs said.
Briggs clearly has never heard of a little team called the New York Jets.
Can someone please send him this clip?
Bun (In The Oven) of Steele?
After months of dating and a mere two weeks from announcing their engagement Vikings Quarterback Chris Ponder married ESPN sideline reporter Samantha Steele in a Wisconsin courthouse.
Hey Chris, ya couldn’t wait a few weeks? It’s not like you’re in the midst of a playoff race or anything and that - partnered with the fact the couple chose enemy territory Wisconsin to tie the knot in – has Viking fans a bit pissed off.
So, it’s only natural that folks assume she’s knocked up.
What’s not typical is the way Steele handled all the “well-wishers” via Twitter.
Ok, so seriously Samantha, when’s the baby due?
It happens every year. The dreaded holiday gift exchange. Where each Christmas -- despite having a monetary limit -- one person's sense of grandiosity takes over and they inevitably outspend the rest of the crew causing massive shame and extreme discomfort.
Apparently in the NFL it's no different.

Hot To Trot?
So by now you've probably heard all about Suzy Favor-Hamilton, the three time Olympic runner who decided instead of turning into a cougar during her mid-life crisis - she'd start turning tricks.
The 44-year old admits she’s been working as an escort out of Vegas for the past year raking in more than $600 an hour for her services and says it was a way to deal with depression.
Many people are shocked by the revelation, specifically because this gorgeous mother runs a successful real estate business with her husband and travels the country as a motivational speaker.
For me, what I find most shocking about this story is that 44-year olds can still be escorts.
Hoop Nightmares
I’m always a bit trepidatious when it comes to mocking the talent of professional athletes. I mean, let’s face it, I’m lucky if I make it from my desk to the bathroom without stumbling and I ate Christmas cookies for breakfast.
And even though my only experience on the hard court include pom-poms and pyramids, I’m pretty sure even I could do better than this guy….
I want to hear from you!
