Thunderstorms Will Fire Up
A warm front created showers and thunderstorms overnight.
Now, we are in the warm sector which means temperatures are going to soar, especially areas that see some sunny breaks.

Watch Melissa's forecast:
Any sunshine will work against us today as more showers and storms fire up as a cold front nears this afternoon and evening.
Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s... lower 70s Cape/Islands. The cold front travels east between 4pm-2am.
This will open up the doors for less humid air and more seasonable temperatures.
Wednesday will gradually become sunnier and highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Thursday will be partly sunny as a warm front lifts northward and produces a chance of showers and storms north and west of the area. Highs will rise into the middle to upper 70s... cooler in SE Mass.
Memorial Day Weekend:
Friday and Saturday look similar as a cold front stalls to our west. This will leave us partly sunny with the showers and storms staying north and west.
Here is a look ...
Then, models hint at the cold/stalled front pushing through Sunday, so I introduced a chance of showers and storms through Sunday afternoon.
BOTH models show that Memorial Day will be dry! Let's hope so! :)
