Truck Carrying Syrup Rolls Over On I-95 In Mansfield
MANSFIELD (CBS) - A tractor trailer carrying a load of syrup crashed on I-95 in Mansfield Wednesday afternoon right at the I-495 ramp, send diesel fuel, and possibly some syrup spilling onto the highway, State Police said.
Traffic was backed up from the crash.
The exit from 495 South to 95 North was temporarily shut down while crews cleaned up the mess.
There were no immediate reports on whether anyone was injured. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
Wednesday appeared to be a difficult day for transporting breakfast goods. Earlier in the day, about 60 miles north on I-495, a truck carrying eggs also crashed.
