Tri-State Megabucks lands one winner 12.5 million
New Hampshire Lottery officials say the player who won a record $12.5 million prize in a Tri-State Megabucks Plus drawing earlier this month has come forward to claim it.
The winner, whose name hasn't been released, plans to make an appearance Wednesday at the Top of the Hill store in Dalton, where the ticket was bought Aug. 4.
The prize is the biggest single payout to a winner in Tri-State Megabucks' 25-year history.
In January 1992, a $16.4 million prize was split between winners in Maine and Vermont.
