Travelers Encouraged To Avoid Driving To Logan Airport For 2 Weeks
BOSTON (CBS) - Massport is telling commuters not to drive into Logan Airport because parking is very much in demand over the next couple weeks.
Check: Logan Parking Advisory
Parking at Logan between Nov. 6 and Nov. 18 is expected to be at a premium. To encourage people to use other forms of transportation to get to Logan, Massport is offering a special flat rate of $22 to park at a Logan Express station for 2-14 days.

"We encourage people to take Logan Express, so we're offering this special deal," said Todd Smith, the director of 'Aviation Operations' at Massport.
Smith said this "crunch time" is due to all the business travelers cramming in trips before Thanksgiving.
"We're seeing advanced bookings very high, so we're expecting a very high peak parking period just before Thanksgiving," said Smith.
