Trailer For New Mitt Romney Documentary Shows Painful Ending To Campaign
BOSTON (CBS) - The first trailer from a new behind-the-scenes documentary on Mitt Romney's quest to become President of the United States was released Wednesday.
The film "Mitt" is directed by Greg Whiteley, who claimed to have exclusive access to Romney from 2006 to 2012.
The trailer begins with Romney in his Boston hotel room looking dejectedly at his cellphone on Election Night in 2012 as someone says off camera, "I just can't believe you're going to lose."
Romney looks up and says quietly, "yea, yup."
The Netflix documentary "Mitt" will premiere January 24.
