The NFL preseason is over and now the games start to count. Over the weekend teams had to get their rosters down to 53 from 80. The big news was the release of Pro Bowl safety Brandon Meriweather.
Greg Bedard joined Toucher & Rich to discuss the Patriots draft history, Tom Brady, Randy Moss and the cuts at the safety position.
With the cutting of Brandon Meriweather the Patriots have no players left from the 2007 draft. This led the guys to talk about the draft history of the Patroits. How much of their success is do to the fact that got Tom Brady?
They also talked about Randy Moss returning to the NFL if the right opportunity presents itself. Would it be a bad idea for the Patriots to bring him back for one year?
