Toucher & Rich With Bert Breer: Patriots Get Back To Work
The NFL lockout is over and the Patriots are heading back to work. Bert Breer of the NFL Network joined Toucher & Rich to discuss the end of the lockout, Robert Kraft, Logan Mankins and teams making moves in free agency.
During the press conference to announce that the lockout was over Robert Kraft was given credit for his work in getting this deal done. There were reports that Kraft brought Roger Goodell to a meeting with DeMarcus Smith and an unnamed player. This meeting was said to be the turning point in getting this new deal done.
The guys also discussed the fact that Logan Mankins will sign his franchise tender and report to training camp on time. Does Breer think the Pats will try to extend him so they don't have to pay him $10 million for one year?
They quickly discussed the significant moves by the Ravens and Cowboys. Where do these moves leave them now? They also took time to look at what the Jets are doing in New York.
