Toucher & Rich Talk With Miami's 'Good Job! Good Effort!' Kid
After the Heat lost Game 5 to the Celtics in Miami, one young Heat fan wanted to keep things positive.
Nine-year-old Jack Meyer went down by the tunnel as the Heat walked off the court, and let the players know what he thought of their performance. His chants of "Good job! Good effort!" were picked up by the ESPN microphones and almost immediately became an internet sensation.

98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich were joined by Jim Meyer, Jack's father, and Jack himself Thursday to discuss Jack's growing popularity on the Internet and his love for the Miami Heat.
The elder Meyer had no idea his son was such a hit until Wednesday afternoon.
"About midway through the morning my secretary and paralegal had told me that they had recognized his voice. So I mentioned it to somebody who was a lot more internet savvy than I was. They googled 'good job kid Miami' and we saw it," recalled Meyers. "It's a pretty amazing thing."
Like any young sports fan, it's no surprise that Jack gets upset when his team loses. But Jim tells us that his son has been working on something like this for some time now.
"He was 'feeling their pain' as they say, so when he went over to the tunnel I wasn't sure what he was going to say or do," he said.
Jack also joined T&R to talk about his new fame. Some on the Internet have not been kind when using his words, and are using them to poke fun at the Heat; now one loss away from elimination.
But Jack isn't calling it quits just yet.
"I would never give up on the Miami Heat," the young fan said.
The young die-hard Heat fan told the guys that LeBron James is his favorite player, but he also had great things to say about Dwyane Wade.
"Dwyane Wade is amazing, he can score, he can rebound, he's one of the best defenders in the league yet manages to be an amazing offensive player also."

Jack didn't have such nice words to use when asked to describe Celtics center Kevin Garnett.
"I have two names for Kevin Garnett; Kevin Gar-Not, and the next one I'm not going to say," he said.
