Toucher & Rich: Proteau On Bruins Slump 'All About Getting Hot At Right Time'
The Bruins beat the St. Louis Blues 4-2 on Wednesday night to snap a two game losing streak.
The B's head to Buffalo next to take on the Sabres before closing out their six game road trip with a visit to Ottawa on Saturday night to battle the Senators.
Adam Proteau of The Hockey News spoke with Ryan Johnston and Mike Flynn, who were in for Toucher & Rich, about the approaching NHL trade deadline, the market leading into the deadline and the Bruins.

The Bruins have been struggling over the last month and a half or so. They are still missing Nathan Horton due to a concussion and Rich Peverley was recently injured and will miss four to six weeks with an MCL sprain in his right knee.
Should fans be concerned with the recent play by the B's or are they just in one of those mid season slumps?
"I think most people will remember last year too, there were times where they didn't look great and they managed to get hot at the right time."
"It's just all about getting hot at the right time."
The guys went on to discuss the looming trade deadline. Right now the market for players is high, but will things change as the deadline gets closer?

"I don't think the prices are going to drop to be honest, I think that's why you do see some GMs make those moves right now."
"I definitely think if you're looking for a defenseman or a forward, especially a top forward, there just aren't going to be that many of them."
"I don't think there's going to be a whole lot of talent available, but it really depends too on the standings in the next couple of days. If anymore teams kind of put some more space between themselves and an actual playoff spot they'll be in a much more willing position to make more players available and probably drive the market down a little bit."
The name Rick Nash has been thrown around here recently, is Nash going to get dealt in a big blockbuster deal in the next couple of days? How good is Nash really, if you put him on a quality team how good could he really be?
"He can be a superstar type player, he can be a 35 to 40 goal scorer if not more if he's got the right guys surrounding him as you say. If he's got enough talent in the lineup where he's not the sole focal point of the other team's defensive plans."
