Toucher & Rich: Matt Kalman: How Much Will The Bruins Miss Bergeron?
The Boston Bruins prepare to do battle with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night.
Toucher & Rich spoke with Matt Kalman about the Bruins without Patrice Bergeron, Tyler Seguin and Tampa Bay's play.
The guys discussed Bergeron's injury and when he might play a game. How much does his absence hurt the team?
"He's the most important player on this team other than Zdeno Chara and the fact is I think they can get by a game or two without him especially if they're disciplined and they don't put Tampa Bay on the power play to often," Kalman told the morning crew.
They also talked about the rookie Tyler Seguin getting some ice time this series while Bergeron is out. Realistically what can we expect out of the young player?
"It's hard to say you really can't predict with this kid cause he's said the right things all season long, but then really didn't do them on the ice," Kalman said.
They also talked about some of the weaknesses of the Lightning that the Bruins could exploit.
