Toucher & Rich: Joe Haggerty, 'You Can Say It's Luck, A Lot Of It Was Thomas'
The Boston Bruins took the series lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning after a 3-1 win at the Garden in Game 5.
Toucher & Rich talked with Joe Haggerty about how the Bruins were able to win despite playing poorly for most of the game.
Many fans are frustrated with the power play and Tomas Kaberle hasn't been able to help much and his performances are inconsistent. Did Game 5 change Joe Haggerty's opinion of Kaberle?
"He was giving a little bit of something in that game, but at the same time they win in spite of him not because of him," Haggerty said.
The guys also talked about the 4 on 3 power play the Bruins had. Why could they not capitalize with all the extra space? Also what was Mark Recchi trying to set up on that power play?
They also discussed Tim Thomas' amazing save to keep Steve Downie from tying it up late in the 3rd period. Was that one of the greatest Bruins saves?
They also discussed Johnny Boychuk's status after a hard hit from Steve Downie.
