Toucher & Rich: Dave Richard's Week 4 Fantasy Update
BOSTON (CBS) - CBSSports.com's Fantasy Football expert Dave Richard joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich Thursday morning for his weekly Fantasy update.
With Bye Weeks now in the mix, one guy Richard is very high on is Jets running back Bilal Powell.
"You can tell the Jets coaching staff is dissatisfied with (Shonn) Greene," said Richard. "I don't know if Bilal Powell is the next great running back, but he can give you 15 touches a game and some decent numbers, and bye weeks are coming up. He could be a decent bye week replacement."
On the Patriots front, should owners be concerned with Rob Gronkowski's relatively human numbers this season (Gronk has just two touchdowns and 14 catches in the first three games)?
"No, I think he was asked to block more against Baltimore because they were going to come after Tom Brady; that's what they do," said Richard. "Gronkowski is still a must in fantasy. The buffalo native has crushed the Bills every single game in his career. He has seven career touchdowns in his short career against Buffalo."
A few quarterbacks Richard recommends picking up is Andy Dalton of the Bengals and Christian Ponder of the Vikings.
"Dalton can be a great fantasy steal right now. He's one reliable receiver away from being a top 10 option," he said.
