Toucher & Rich: Dave Richard's Fantasy Football Advice
A lot of fantasy leagues still have their drafts coming up as teams gear up for the last preseason game and everyone is looking for the best information on what players to draft.
CBS Sports fantasy football guru joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich to give fantasy owners the information they want.
The guys started off discussing quarterback and Colin Kaepernick. Is he worth a high pick? Richard loves him as a quarterback and thinks he'll be great for fantasy, but believes that you can wait on draft a quarterback.
Richrad points out that there are enough good QBs in the league to go around that you can grab one late and be okay, instead focus your early picks on running back. Richard isn't against using your first two picks to draft running backs to give you the best chance of grabbing quality talent.
They moved on to a caller who asked about Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon. Richard thinks that Gordon will be the guy in Cleveland and has him possibly finishing the season as a top 20 wide receiver.
Remember that Gordon is suspended for the first two games of the season, but if you can get him late in your draft he should be worth it after serving his time.
Michael Vick was also brought up and Richard likes him as a late round pick, but does have some concerns about the QB. Will Vick be able to stay healthy? How will the offense perform once team start to prepare for them in the regular season? Richard also points out that the Eagles have a tough six weeks to start the season.
There was also a question about New England tight end Rob Gronkowski and whether or not you trade him now. What could you expect to get back if you decided to trade the tight end?
