Toucher & Rich: Complaints From NASCAR Fans
A site called Jalopnik has revealed that NASCAR fans have filed 18,359 complaints about NASCAR coverage to the FCC over the last three years. There have been complaints about everything from erectile dysfunction commercials to sexy hamburger ads.
Fans write letters in which they state how they've recorded drivers and even commentators swearing and listened to the recording over and over just to make sure it was a swear.
Why do people feel the need to bring attention to something that lasts a second and can easily be overlooked and forgotten?
Fred goes through some of the letters and wonders if the fans are so upset about the swear word and so offended that they feel the need to write a letter, then why do they write the actual swear in the letter?
What's the reason these people let themselves get so upset over these issues?
