Toucher & Rich: Chris Gasper On Patriots Troubles In Buffalo
The Patriots fell to the Bills 34-31 for the first time since 2003.
Tom Brady went 30 of 45 for 386 yards, four scores and 4 interceptions. Chris Gasper spoke with Toucher & Rich about the loss to the Bills, what Buffalo did to win, Tom Brady's performance and the Patriots defense.
What does Gasper think the reasons are that the Patriots lost?
"Well I mean obviously turnovers, 4 interceptions. Those 4 interceptions by Tom Brady leading to 24 points for the Bills...I think the questions about this team are still on the defensive side. This offense isn't going to turn the ball over 4 times a games very many times throughout the course of the year, but defensively you just have questions as to whether this defense can get the key stops when they have too," Gasper said.

The Patriots did not have success running the ball or really didn't attempt to run much at all. What did Gasper think?
"I think they have to make sure they don't become so enamored of this no huddle and what they can do with Brady and that's tough. When you have the best quarterback in the game it's tough to say we're going to take the ball out of his hands and have him hand off. It almost seems like a waste, but you have to have a balanced offense. We saw that towards the end of last year against the Jets. There's going to be a team or 2 somewhere along the line here that's going to slow them down through the air, they're going to have to be able to move the ball on the ground," said Gasper.
They went on to discuss the problems the Patriots had on defense and the safeties. What went on with Devin McCourty? All this and more with Chris Gasper.
