Tom Brady Ready For Rematch After Danny Amendola Shares QB's Ping-Pong Rage
BOSTON (CBS) -- Tom Brady is a competitive man on the football field. After 15 years as a starting quarterback, this much is known quite well.
But teammate Danny Amendola shared a tale of Brady's competitiveness off the field -- and at the Ping-Pong table -- that is both hilarious and also slightly concerning.
"He's so competitive and whatnot. I remember one story, it was my first week in the building, and he wanted to play some Ping-Ping. I didn't really know how to go about it -- I know I was better than him. I didn't want to beat him too bad, because I wanted him to throw me the ball," Amendola told Wendi Nix on ESPN. "I knew I was better. Needless to say, his competitive nature unleashed a broken paddle by the end of it. It's the reason why we love him, and the reason why he's the best quarterback."
With the world discussing his Ping-Pong paddle destruction, Brady caught wind of the story. He looks primed for payback.
Brady's most likely sweating bullets in his basement at this very moment, working relentlessly to atone for the loss from years ago. Look out, Danny.
