NFL Deletes Tweet Seemingly Snubbing Tom Brady

BOSTON (CBS) – The NFL tweeted out a photo celebrating the best quarterbacks in the game. Whoever runs the league's social media account, however, seemed to forget a certain 4-time Super Bowl champion.

On Sunday night, the official NFL Twitter account posted asking fans what two teams will make it to this year's Super Bowl.

The tweet included a picture with the Super Bowl logo along with seven quarterbacks – Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Russell Wilson and Carson Palmer.

Not making the cut? That would be Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who just last week successfully defeated the league in federal court to overturn his 4-game DeflateGate suspension.

The NFL went on to delete the tweet, but not before fans noticed that Brady appeared to have been left out in favor of Palmer.

This isn't the first questionable social media post from the NFL when it comes to the Patriots in recent months.

During the offseason, the NFL posted several posts that made Patriots fans raise an eyebrow. One that was deleted said "Precision. Strength. Intelligence.," which happens to spell out PSI.

The NFL did not follow up with any explanation for its latest tweet or its decision to delete it.
