Tom Brady Improves To 9-4 Against Peyton Manning
BOSTON (CBS) - With a 31-21 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady improved to 9-4 against his friend and rival Peyton Manning.
But Tom Brady didn't want to hear anything about him vs. Manning following the game.
"I mean it's Patriots-Broncos," he said after going 23-for-31 for 223 yards and a touchdown against Denver. "It was a great team win. We got some turnovers from our defense and I thought offensively capitalized at times. There were a few lulls in there, which I wish we had executed a little bit better, but for the most part it's a good day."

"It's a good win against a very good team," added Brady. "The Broncos have a hell of a team in all three phases and I thought we really stood up to them, so it's a good win for us."
Each quarterback did their part on Sunday, with Brady orchestrating four different scoring drives of 80 or more yards. Manning, who didn't talk about Brady during his post game press conference, threw for 345 yards and three touchdowns.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has enjoyed watching the two quarterbacks go head-to-head over the years, though that 9-4 record by Brady probably plays into it a bit.
"Two great players, obviously. Two great, great players," Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said of the Brady-Manning match up. "They're both great. There's nobody I'd rather have than Tom Brady, but Manning is a great player."

Sunday was only the second time in NFL history that two starting quarterbacks with 125+ career regular-season wins to their named faced off against each other.
