Tom Brady AFC Offensive Player Of The Week - Again
FOXBORO (CBS) – For the second straight week, Tom Brady was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week, for his four-touchdown performance against the Jets on Monday night.
Brady completed 21 of 29 for 326 yards against New York, with no interceptions. It was his 26th straight regular season home win, an NFL record.
Last week Brady was named Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Detroit, in the Patriots 45-24 victory. He has now won the award 17 times.
Tom Brady has more touchdowns this season than any other quarterback in the AFC (27) and is tied for the fewest interceptions (4). His next test comes Sunday afternoon in Chicago, when the 10-2 Patriots take on the 9-3 Bears.
