Tippett To Announce Patriots 2nd Round Picks
NEW YORK (AP/CBS) - Andre Tippett and 31 other retired NFL stars will announce their former teams' second-round picks at the NFL draft next Friday.
Tippett will represent the Patriots, and announce their two second-round picks.
Tippett was drafted by New England in the second round in 1982, and played his entire 12-year career for the Patriots. He holds the franchise record for sacks (100) and was named to the Pro Bowl five times. Tippett was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 1999, and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

The league announced Thursday it would have players announce the picks for an entire round for the first time. The Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets do not have second-round selections, so their representatives will announce their third-round picks.
