Tim Thomas Ends Media Session After White House Question
BOSTON (CBS) -- More than two months have passed since the Bruins famously visited the White House without playoff MVP Tim Thomas, but the Bruins' starting goaltender still isn't quite willing to talk about it.
Thomas, who stated shortly after the White House trip that he'd no longer answer any questions about his decision not to attend, was asked Monday about the White House once again. Despite the fact that the question became somewhat relevant again when the Bruins were matched up with the Washington Capitals for the first round of the playoffs, Thomas immediately ended his session with the media upon it being asked.

"Just given the setting, that it's in D.C., is there any concern on your part about the White House getting kicked up?" asked CSNNE's Joe Haggerty.
"Thanks, guys," Thomas quickly replied. "We finally got someone to get me out early. Thank you."
Thomas then left the assembled media.
Thomas made a statement after he decided not to attend the White House trip, saying the government has grown out of control and no longer reflects the ideals of the Constitution.
"Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House," Thomas wrote at the time. "This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL."
Thomas then ended a media scrum in early February when asked repeatedly about the decision, saying on his walk out, "I'm out, peace."
