BELLINGHAM (CBS) -- Authorities seized 36 marijuana plants from an "elaborate growing operation" inside a local Bellingham business on Thursday, according to police.

After getting complaints from neighbors, officers investigated "Attorney General Construction" at 11 Summer St.

Police recovered three dozen individual pot plants from the building, and also seized growing equipment that included lighting and a ventilation system.

Business owner Arcadio Gonzales, 51, was charged with cultivating marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
