Threatening Note Found On London-To-Boston Flight
BOSTON (CBS) - A suspicious note was found in the bathroom of a Virgin Atlantic flight to Boston on Sunday afternoon.
Massport confirmed the note was found in Flight 11 from London to Boston. The note, which referenced a bomb and the date 11/11, was found by a flight attendant.
The flight landed at Logan Airport at around 6 p.m.
After passengers got off the plane, state police troopers did a precautionary search of the plane.
No one was injured. It's not known exactly when the note was found.
Authorities with the FBI and the Massachusetts State Police do not believe the threat is credible, but are investigating, which is standard protocol.
