Thornton To Blackhawks: 'We Have Fairly Good Memories'
BOSTON (CBS) - Shawn Thornton and his 40+ stitches joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich Thursday morning, and the Bruins enforcer is still upset after being mocked by Chicago players as he skated off the ice with a gash in his forehead Tuesday night.
"I was happy it wasn't my eye, and I wasn't happy someone was chirping me while half my face was half way open," Thornton said of the Blackhawks player that told him to "get off the ice" with a few more words added before and after. "If you don't know how somebody is, I don't think it's right. I just wanted it to be known I was not appreciative of the chirps as I went by."

Thornton skated by the Chicago bench with a cloth covering the wound, and actually tried to find out who taunted him. Although he did not find out who it was, and still does not know, Thornton will take care of it in the future if need be.
"We have fairly good memories, I'll leave it at that I guess," Thornton said. "We don't forget too much."

"We have extra bodies," Thornton said, "so I think they're going to start resting guys anyways and get guys in the lineup. We'll see what happens."
