Thomas In Net For Bruins Against Sabres
BOSTON (CBS) - Tim Thomas was the first goalie off the ice in Buffalo on Wednesday, meaning he will get the start against the Sabres.
''It doesn't take a brain surgeon to go with him tonight--he's our best goaltender,' Bruins head coach Claude Julien said after the morning skate.
Thomas is on a hot streak right now, posting back-to-back shutouts against the New York Islanders and Montreal Canadiens. He has stopped all 56 shots that have come his way over the stretch.
