Thieves Steal $32,000 In Louis Vuitton 'Blitz'

NATICK (CBS) – Natick police are looking for two men wanted in a brazen robbery at the Natick Collection Tuesday night.

Three men walked into the Louis Vuitton store just before 8 p.m. and immediately started clearing the shelves.

They stole a collection of high-end handbags and accessories worth about $32,000.

"(It was) somewhat of a blitz attack. The individuals came in, one individual controlled the clerks as the other two collected the merchandise," Natick Police Lt. Brian Grassey told WBZ-TV.

One clerk called 911. Police arrested one of the suspects – 44-year-old Duane White of Boston.

The two others escaped and were picked up in a dark Volkswagen, possibly a Golf.

Grassey called the men "bold" and "professional."

"These individuals are doing this for a living. This is high end," he said.

Police recovered most of the merchandise. Some of the bags are worth $3,200 each.

There are now two security guards on duty at the store, which was also hit in October.

Investigators are trying to figure out if the same men were involved in both robberies.

Anyone with information is asked to call Natick Police at 508-647-9520.
