They're Back...Sunshine and the 80s!

High pressure will dominate our weather today. Consequently, sunshine and the 80s will make a comeback. Highs will range from 80-85F inland and the upper 70s/near 80F for the Coast/Cape/Islands as a seabreeze develops.

Thursday will be another beauty with increasing afternoon clouds. The atmosphere will begin to deestabilize as a cold front appraoches Southern New England. There will be a very small chance of a shower/storm for the 'burbs that are far north and west of the the city. Highs will once again reach the lower and middle 80s.  This same frontal boundary will slowly meander near our neighborhoods through early this weekend. So, the best chance of a few showers and storms for the entire viewing area will be on Friday.  Although I believe Saturday will mainly be a nice day with a mixture of clouds and sun, this front will be close enough to maintain a slight chance of a spot storm for Eastern and Southeastern Massachhusetts during the afternoon.  Sunday will be sunny with increaing late-day clouds accompanied by highs in the middle 80s.

Atlantic Tropical Update:  There is one specific cluster of storms in the Central Caribbean that has a chance of strengthening into our next named storm, 'Harvey'. In addition, we will be keeping a watchful eye on a number of tropical waves off of the west coast of Africa in the coming days.

Melissa :)
