The Golf Club: How To Get Kids Involved In Golf, Plus A Trip To The Links At Outlook In Maine
BOSTON (CBS) -- On this episode of the Sports Hub Golf Club, Hardy and his friends go on the road with Arbella Insurance to The Links at Outlook in South Berwick, Maine.
As the name suggests, The Links at Outlook features a links style layout set in southern Maine, but the course changes dramatically on the back nine. Long grass bordering wide fairways gives way to tree-lined holes with dramatic elevation changes, giving golfers a test on two very different setups.
Golf Course Superintendent James Baker talks about both sides, the challenges in maintaining them, and what he wishes every golfer would do when they play his course.
Director of Golf Operations and Marketing Jeff Maldonis also joins Hardy to talk about all The Links at Outlook has to offer before they head out to play the tricky par 4 10th hole:

Also on the show, there are some great ideas about getting kids ready to golf. Paul Gozbekian, TPI certified trainer and longtime contributor to the Sports Hub Golf Club, normally helps the big kids stay healthy and prepped for the course; this time, the focus turns to the younger kids, with tips for starting and keeping them in the game.
