Temps To Rise Into 90's Next Three Days
BOSTON (CBS) - It is going to feel a lot more like summer around here this weekend.

While much of the rest of the nation has been incredibly hot, for the last several days we have been under the influence of a stalled out weather system blocking the heat to our west and bringing unsettled conditions with daily showers and storms.
That stubborn storm is now lifting north, allowing the heat and humidity to pour in.
Our temperature ascent has already begun. Highs Thursday afternoon will top out in the mid 80's, the warmest since last weekend.
A warm front will push through midday on Friday and that is when the heat really will begin to build.
Friday actually has the highest potential, but how much temperatures will rise depends upon how much cloud cover and showers are generated by the midday warm front.
Temperatures aloft (several thousand feet up in the atmosphere) will be at their warmest on Friday afternoon, supporting surface temperatures in the mid-to-upper 90's.
But the cloud cover and scattered showers may limit our temperatures on Friday a bit holding them between 90-95 degrees. Friday will also be the most uncomfortable day of the stretch with humidity levels at their highest.
The air will be much drier Saturday and Sunday, making the heat a bit easier to take.
Highs on Saturday will once again be 90-95 but with winds relatively light, some local seabreezes are sure to develop keeping many beaches in the 80's.
Sunday should be a notch cooler, topping out right around 90 degrees, and once again a bit cooler where weak seabreezes develop.
So will this be our second heat wave this month?
The answer is yes and no.
Away from the coastline many towns will hit 90+ all three days, but in Boston and along the coast, light winds off the water in the afternoon will likely mean we come up just short.
Looking ahead to next week, the heat will subside just a bit.
Temperatures will be mainly in the 80's each day with just a few passing showers or thunderstorms at times.
It looks like great weather for the 4th of July, no major storms and no oppressive heat either.
