Temperatures Are Taking-Off

It's Fat Tuesday!  Mild air is starting to work its way into Southern New England.  Highs were near 40F yesterday, and you can add on 5F degrees (45F) for today's high temperature.   It's going to be a bright, bright, bright, bright, and sunshiny day! :) High clouds will work their way into the region this evening. Then, a few showers will be around tonight as you head to bed, and those showers will be departing as you wake up on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be the beginning of a 3-day journey in the 50s!   A few spot showers are possible during the first half of the day, but most of the day will be dry along with partly sunny skies.  Winds will be breezy from the southwest.  Highs will reach the middle 50s.

There will be a few showers around Wednesday night into early Thursday. Again, most of the daylight hours on Thursday will be dry. Highs will be in the lower to middle 50s.  Then, Friday will be the pinnacle of this warm stretch as highs make a run for 60F!  This is the day when a potent cold front sweeps across New England.  Rain showers (thunder is possible) will be around during the day.  Once the front passes to our east, the warmth will be 'washed away' and cooler temperatures and gusty winds will be the weather headlines this weekend.
