Teen Mother, Baby Found Dead In New Bedford
NEW BEDFORD (CBS) – A New Bedford mother and her infant girl were discovered dead in the bathroom of their home Friday.
A friend says a resident saw 19-year-old Reina Ramos go into the bathroom to take a shower or bath. When she never came out, the resident called the woman's boyfriend at work. He came home and found the woman and their 3-week-old daughter unconscious in the bathroom.
The Bristol County District Attorney says it's being investigated as an "unattended death." He says it was not suspicious and there was no sign of foul play.
