TD Garden Vandal Identified
BOSTON (CBS) -- The woman who was videotaped vandalizing a pole at the TD Garden has been identified, officials from the Garden report.
In the cell phone video that's been circulating the internet the woman is seen wearing a Bruins jersey and kicking a hole in a post in a bathroom before falling to the ground.
It happened last week when the Bruins faced the St. Louis Blues and lost in a shootout.
Hugh Lombardi, Senior Vice President & General Manager of the TD Garden, said in a statement, "The TD Garden has identified the individual involved, she has apologized and agreed to pay restitution for the damages and we therefore consider the matter closed."
The Bruins responded by posting its own humorous video showing the team's bear mascot in the bathroom repairing the vandalized post with spackle. Then the buzzer sounds with a written warning not to disrespect the garden, and not to post it online.
