Taylor Meyer's Family Settles Party Death Lawsuit
PLAINVILLE (AP) - The family of a 17-year-old high school senior from Plainville who drowned in 2008 after wandering away from an outdoor underage drinking party has settled a wrongful death lawsuit with two people who allegedly supplied the alcohol.
A lawyer for Taylor Meyer's estate tells The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro that the family has reached an agreement with Paige and Brian Zuzick, a brother and sister who were among seven defendants in the January 2010 lawsuit.

The lawyer said he could not disclose financial terms of the settlement, but said the family was driven to settle by the "enormous remorse" shown by the Zuzicks.
Meyer, a King Philip Regional student, drowned in a swamp near the abandoned Norfolk Airport.
A lawyer for the Zuzicks did not return a message.
