Taunton Toddler Struck By Car

TAUNTON (CBS) --- A toddler was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, after being struck by a car.

It happened Saturday morning.

Taunton Police say the girl saw her dad go outside and cross the street. The girl, 3, apparently ran out after her father. As she came out from behind a parked car, she was struck by a moving car at the corner of Stevens and Pinehill streets.

The girl was responsive when emergency personnel arrived. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
