Tarpinian Added To Patriots Injury Report, Welker 'All Right'
FOXBORO (CBS) - Jeff Tarpinian joined the Patriots injured list on Friday, missing practice with an illness.
The linebacker is one of four Patriots that did not practice, but the other three should come as no surprise.
Corner Devin McCourty and linebackers Brandon Spikes and Dane Fletcher were again missing from practice, making it unlikely any of them will suit up Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Head coach Bill Belichick gave a quick update on them, but did not say much.
"I think a lot of those guys are doing better. Devin, Dane, I think they're coming along, Brandon. [I] see those guys more positive every day. [They're] getting there, so we'll see," said Belichick.

Once again, the Patriots listed 14 players with limited participation, including receiver Wes Welker. He is appearing on the injured list for the third straight week with his third different ailment. This time it's a knee injury, which Welker says is no big deal.
"I feel all right," he said. "I think everybody goes through different things through the season. You just have to manage them and get ready the best you can."
