Tanguay On Toucher & Rich: Not Playing Bosh More 'Just Dumb Coaching'
The Celtics tied their series with the Heat on Sunday night in Boston and then took the 3-2 series lead Tuesday night on the road in Miami. Now the two teams head back to Boston for Game 6 and if the Celtics can pull out a win they'll be headed to the NBA Finals.
Gary Tanguay of Comcast SportsNet joined Toucher & Rich to discuss the Celtics Game 5 win, the use of Chris Bosh, Doc Rivers and what team out of the West is the most favorable matchup for the Celtics?
Before this series with the Heat started many didn't think the Celtics would be able to hang and dropping the first two games didn't help, but now they have one three straight to take the lead in the series and are one win away from the Finals. Has this Game 5 loss ruined LeBron Jame emotionally?
"I think that LeBron is now saying is this Cleveland all over again."
Chris Bosh played just over 14 minutes, but said after the game that he could have played more. He said it was Erik Spoelstra decision to not play him more.
"Bad, bad, bad, bad move to me. I mean you know, again he was like 14 minutes and nine points and you had to worry about him. That to me is just dumb coaching."
Taking a look at the games in this series so far and looking at all the things the Heat have tried have the Celtics seen the best Miami has to give?
"That's a really good question and you're going to see what the Heat are made of and up until this point they're made of Swiss cheese. I think you've got to play Bosh."
Looking ahead if the Celtics win this series and head to the Finals what team would be the most favorable matchup for the C's.
"I don't want to talk about that I want to talk about me. I don't want to go to Oklahoma City," Tanguay joked before telling the guys that he thinks the Spurs give the Celtics the best chance to win.
