The L Street Brownies took their annual frigid dip into Dorchester Bay around 10:30 a.m.
The air was cold, about 32 degrees, and the water was freezing too.
But it didn't stop hundreds of men and women from taking part in the Polar Bear Plunge, which has been held every year since 1904.
Some do it on a dare, others do it for charity and some said it just makes them feel good.
