Suspicious Powder In Danvers Reservoir Identified As Corn Meal

DANVERS (CBS) - Suspicious white powder was spotted along the banks of a reservoir in Danvers on Sunday morning.

The "powder" was seen at the reservoir at around 10:30 a.m.

Officials with the Danvers Fire Department, Danvers Police Department, Beverly Water Board, and Public Health Departments all responded to the scene.

Hazardous Materials crews were later called in and determined that the powdery substance was corn meal.
