Suspects Identified In Fatal Dorchester Shooting That Injured Officer
BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston Police have identified the two suspects involved in a shooting with officers on Saturday.
The police confirmed the suspect shot and killed in the Dorchester neighborhood incident is Darryl Dookhran, 20, of Boston.
The second suspect was identified as Christopher Murrain, 26, of Dorchester. Murrain faces arraignment Monday morning at Dorchester District Court on charges including assault and battery on a police officer causing injury.
The pair of officers involved in the shooting have not been identified. One of the officers suffered a gunshot wound to an arm.
The incident leading up to the shooting began after a verbal altercation between the officers and suspects in the area of Westville Street and Geneva Avenue, according to officials.
