Survivors Remember Pearl Harbor Attack
BOSTON (CBS) -- It was a quiet day Sunday morning in Hawaii when waves of Japanese planes dove from the sky in the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor.
More than 2,000 American military personnel would lose their lives in the minutes that followed.
The attack brought the United States headlong into WWII.
Today, more than 120 survivors of the attack will gather to remember that fateful day.
Tom Davey joined the Navy when he was old enough. He served during the Korean war, but it's December 7th, 1941 which he remembers vividly.

Bernard Murphy of Worcester was a gunner's mate at the Pearl Harbor base when it was attacked.
He was one of the lucky ones that survived.
