Surveillance Cameras Capture Bicycle Theft At NH Home
MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) - Eight-year-old Colby Lyman is hoping someone will see his parents' surveillance video (watch it below), and help catch the guy who stole his bike.
"I want to catch him, I want to catch him so I can get my bike," he explained.
After two stolen bikes and two car break-ins, Colby's parents installed surveillance cameras at their Manchester, New Hamshire home earlier this year.
"Just instant infuriation. Just get angry that they came on our property as if it was their own," said Liz Lyman, Colby's mom.
WBZ-TV's Karen Anderson reports.
Three cameras installed around their home were rolling when a thief took off with his bike. He was caught on tape. They emailed the police, and also decided to post the video on YouTube and Craigslist. On YouTube, it's already had more than 600 hits.

"Now instead of telling my two neighbors about it and having them keep an eye open, now I have more than a thousand people keeping an eye open," said Liz Lyman.
The surveillance system cost about $600 to buy and install. The Lyman family feels it was worth it. For Colby's parents, it's about justice. For Colby, it's about the bike.
If you recognize the thief, the family hopes you'll call Manchester, New Hampshire police.
