Support For Herman Cain Increases In NH After Accusations
Manchester, NH (CBS) - As all eyes focus on Herman Cain at the GOP debate, his backers in New Hampshire are sticking by him.
Wednesday was Kathy Holmes' first day volunteering at Herman Cain headquarters in Manchester. When women came forward accusing Cain of sexual harassment, she gave him money. Holmes doesn't believe the allegations.
"That got me fired up," she said.

She donated again after last night's news conference. It put to rest any of her doubts.
"Until that press conference I was going to be a little embarrassed to be a supporter. But after the press conference I said OK, he defended himself. He did it well."
Cain's campaign says they've seen an increase in both volunteers and donations.
But some voters are having second thoughts. A new national poll shows a dip in Cain's favor-ability ratings.
Dick LeBlanc of Manchester had been drawn to Cain because of his flat tax proposal. Now, he's not so sure.
"Now I'd like to see everybody take a lie detector test and see what's going on here, including Herman Cain," he said. LeBlanc hadn't made up his mind whether or not he believed the claims.
Sharon Douty and her son Daniel have been Cain backers since day one. Both volunteer and pass out literature for the campaign. Neither have wavered at all.
"I think he's a man of integrity no matter what these people are saying," Sharon said.
Daniel says his support is stronger than ever. "All these sexual harassment charges are making me do is say, people see him as a threat," he explained.
Cain's last visit to New Hampshire was October 12th. His campaign said he would be back to talk with voters in a few weeks.
The last New Hampshire poll showed Cain in second place but there hasn't been any new polling since the sexual harassment scandal broke.
