Man Stabbed Inside Suffolk Superior Court
BOSTON (CBS) -- The second floor of Suffolk Superior Court in Boston was shut down Wednesday after a 22-year-old man was stabbed there, Massachusetts State Police said.
Boston Police and EMS responded to the courthouse around 11:40 a.m. State Police were also on scene.
The man's injuries are non-life-threatening, State Police said. He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.
"Preliminary investigation indicates that around 11:30 a.m. an argument between two groups of youths or young men occurred in an elevator at the courthouse." The altercation continued as the group moved toward the second-floor cafeteria and a stabbing occurred, according to State Police.
The suspect or suspects then ran out of the courthouse. No arrests have been made but sources tell WBZ-TV that detectives have strong leads.
