Student's Creative School Dance Proposal Wins $150

BARNSTABLE (CBS) - It takes a lot of guts to ask someone out who you don't know all that well.

Recently at Barnstable High School they had a little contest for their Sadie Hawkins dance - where the girls ask the guys.

The student who came up with the most creative way of asking would win $150.

Colleen Morin, a sophomore who had been taking flying lessons, dropped leaflets from an airplane asking Kevin Huska to the dance.

She put a video together of her proposal and tossed it on YouTube.

The video shows Huska getting one of the leaflets and saying "yes."

Colleen won $150 for her idea.

Colleen's dad told WBZ-TV about her win.

He says he's really proud of her and hopes she has fun at the dance.
