Strasburg Starts Career 2-0
Nationals' rookie Stephen Strasburg made his first road start Sunday afternoon against the Indians. He struckout 8 over 5.1 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits and 5 walks on 95 pitches. Fellow rookie Drew Storen minimized the damage for Strasburg by getting the final two outs in the 6th with the bases loaded while not allowing a run to score. The Nationals beat the Indians 9-4, Strasburg improves to 2-0 to go along with a 2.19 ERA.
Strasburg's next scheduled start is Friday, June 18th at home vs. the Chicago White Sox.
