Warrant Issued For 'Armed And Dangerous' Stoughton Shooting Suspect
STOUGHTON (CBS) – Two teenagers have been arrested following a shooting inside a Stoughton CVS and police have issued an arrest warrant for the suspected gunman.
An 18-year-old was in the checkout line Thursday when three people entered the store, had words with the teen and shot him.
On Friday, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested in connection to the Washington Street shooting. Their identities have not been released because they are juveniles.
The alleged gunman has not yet been arrested, but police identified him as 23-year-old Marcus Pierre-Lewis.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Pierre-Louis, who Stoughton Police said should be considered "armed and dangerous."
Investigators spent Thursday night watching surveillance video and interviewing witnesses.
Police do not believe the incident was gang related, but add that it is not a random act.
Pierre-Louis has connections to Stoughton, Brockton and Boston.
"We do not want you to approach him. Just contact the police department," Police Chief Donna McNamara said.
