Trees were down all around the Boston area, but one town affected more so than other communities was Winchester.

"Everybody will be talking about it," she told WBZ-TV's Katie Brace. "We were there. We saw the party."

"Everybody ran like heck to get inside," Casaletto added. "Then we saw this one (tree) going, this is the biggest one, and everyone was petrified."

A large tree came crashing down, landing in between two homes in Malden. Malden resident Austin Swank was upstairs when it happened.

"There was a big gust of wind and a heard a very loud snap," he said. "I originally thought the house was hit by lightning. My first reaction was just get up (and) get downstairs."

No significant damage was done to the homes, and no one was hurt.

Boston Fire officials told WBZ-TV's Jim Smith an awning let go at the Lenox Hotel and a man was hit in the head. He was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

In the South End, a large maple tree was uprooted by a gust and fell down, coming to rest on some vehicle. No one was reportedly injured.
